지난 2006년 4월 11일, 대전 송촌동에서 택시기사 김태수 씨가 택시 안에서 28군데나 찔려 살해당한 사건이 발생했다. 범인은 택시 미터기에 남은 기록을 통해 마지막 손님으로 추정되지만, 아직까지도 검거되지 않고 있다.
